I am grateful to those who have expressed their appreciation for some of the talks I have given and have provided testimonials:

“We would like to say big thank you to yourself and your wife for your excellent talk today on bee keeping along with the honey tasting which went down a treat with the members and volunteers.”

“I just wanted to thank you for your fascinating presentation to Halstead U3A on Tuesday 1st August.  So many people have commented on how much they enjoyed the talk particularly because you made the subject matter so accessible. Thank you again for coming to Halstead U3A, and I hope that you will see you again in the future.”

Vice Chairman, Halstead U3A

“Thank you so much for coming to give a talk to our group on Wednesday.  Your talk was very engaging, and made us realise how much was involved in sustaining a thriving bee colony.  It was useful to actually see some of the equipment used, and the interspersed bee facts made us realise how important they have been through the ages, and just how vital they still are today.”

“Thank you so much for hosting your “View from Space” talk. The videos and pictures from space were impressive to say the least. Not only did you attract a good crowd of all ages, who were clearly engaged, asking lots of questions, it was gratifying to see the buzz of lively interest afterwards as people crowded around to talk with you”

Our speaker Andy Bennett gave an interesting and absorbing glimpse of ‘Outer Space’. The photos of distant planets and galaxies and the information he was able to give us about future research and the use of satellites and telescopes kept our interest throughout. We were left wanting more

“I’m a member of ECC’s Employment and Skills Unit and you kindly agreed to deliver a presentation to a group of lads at Moulsham High School, who are participating in a programme called ‘Goals 2 Work’. I know it was some time ago now, but I thought it’s worth stating that in conversations I’ve had with the football clubs and Catch 22, yours remains the most engaging presentation the lads have been party to.”

“Andy has given our Club two very interesting talks – one about beekeeping and honey products and the other about space imaging technology.

He kept us enthralled with PowerPoint slides, videos and props for each presentation and answered all our questions in a most comprehensive, professional and easily understandable way.

He is obviously able to adapt his presentation to suit his audiences. Highly recommended.”

“I wanted to say thank you for coming to school this week. The feedback from the children and staff was excellent. They really liked hearing about space and some of the children asked some very deep questions”
